Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) Testing is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to measure wall thickness in ferromagnetic materials, such as steel, without needing to remove insulation or coatings. It uses a probe that induces eddy currents in the material and then monitors the rate at which these currents decay to determine the thickness. This method is particularly useful in situations where access to the surface is limited or where direct contact is not feasible
